According to the estimates, the app has been installed 111.3 billion times from the Google Play Store in 2021. On the other hand, apps have been installed 32.3 billion times from Apple's App Store.
In 2021, the most downloaded app was TikTok on iOS and Android platforms. TikTok also got the title of the highest earning app of the year. Censor Tower estimates that TikTok's revenue will exceed $ 2.3 billion by the end of the year.
The most frequently downloaded apps include Meta’s Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, Snapchat, Zoom, CapCut and Spotify.
